The Siberian brown bear is a subspecies between Eurasian and Kamchatka one, with a weight of up to 350 kg. It is larger than the Eurasian brown bear, with a larger skull up to 431 mm. The length of the Siberian brown bearskin (from the tip of the nose to the tip of the tail) reaches 2.2-2.3 m. The skin coat is long, soft, and more brilliant than other bears have.

• Spring is the best time for the brown bear hunt when it wanders in search of food on open mountain slopes. Moreover, the quality of the skins in early spring is much better than in the fall. 
• Stand hunting over the bait is usually used to hunt or you can hunt staying mobile with a blind set downwind of the bait, either early in the morning and in the evening.
• The weather is usually cool, especially in spring, when the temperature can range from –10C to +20C. Bring your sleeping bag and warm clothing.
